Journey To Japan

I backpacked around Japan for 5 weeks in the summer of 2008.

Beginning and ending my trip in Tokyo, I travelled along the length of the country on the famed JR Pass, a luxury which residents are denied. The Shinkansen is a revelation, and allowed me to travel thousands of kilometres, taking in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Nagoya, Sendai, Hakodate, Sapporo and Yokohama.
